So i watched The Inbetweeners last night...
which, for one reason or another, was the first time i have done so in full...
I don't whether last night's episode was a on-off inn terms of quality, but wow, what a disappointment. Given the hype it recives here and elsewhere, i was expecting so much more. It was ok, and i did chuckle at times, but on last night's evidence this show is far from being the best thing on on TV or indeed C4 for that matter...it almost felt like i was an watching comedy ITV *shudders*. A few thoughts (and remember, this is based solely on last night's episode - i am willing to be proved wrong):
- The guy with the glasses is a weak mish-mash of previous comedy characters, especially Alan Partridge (there was even an exact lift of a Partridge line: 'I'll level with you - I'm scared').
- The acting's not very good really.
- There aren't many funny jokes.
Was this episode (the one where they go clubbing in London) a bad egg? Can i expect better?
