Ok, so I'm going to America for 3 months in the summer with a group of friends, and we're renting a house together. we're looking at one house that looks fine BUT we'd have to pay for an extra month because it's a sublet and we'd have to take over a three-month lease.

it seems totally ridiculous to me to pay for an extra month, as well as a deposit, when we won't even be there. No one else sees a problem, saying it averages out the same as other places. but the other places are nicer which is why they can charger higher rent per month.

please tell me i'm taking sense? :(
