bizarre local entertainment

colon_closed_bracket [Edit] [Delete] 11:55, 22 April '09

i grew up in a village just outside Christchurch, Dorset, and in the village there were three farms. Every summer, one of the farms would host a "cow pat lottery". The farmer would divide his field up into a number of grids, which would be "bought" by punters. He would then let a cow loose into the field and wait for it to poo. the winner of the lottery would be the person whose grid square contained the first cow pat. very strange.

what constitutes/constituted entertainment where you currently live/where you grew up?
