Andrey Arshavin amazingly scores four goals at Anfield to put a massive dent in Liverpool title bid. It looks to be all over for them now that Manchester United have two games in hard. I never saw the game but it looks to have been a classic.
Bill Kenwright reckon Davie Moyes is "the greatest manager in the world".
Spurs are apparently going to sign Beckham in October. Hmm. Complete fabrication IMO.
Sunderland want Dunne and Darren Bent.
Villa have £10m to spend and are sniffing about Lescott. No starter. I doubt Everton would sell one of their prize assets to their 5th place rivals for that. Another £5 required.
In the Championship and Reading are back to winning ways with a vital victory away to Derby who could still go down with two games to go. Barnsley get a vital point away to Coventry and Cardiff come from 2 down to draw away to Chartlon in the final 10 minutes. They look to have secured a playoff place now. Chris Burke pops up with a goal for Cardiff having not been seen since he was shot by a sniper against Celtic in 2006 on Rangers duty.
There's still a lot to play for in the final two games of the Championship season, Forest vs Southampton on the final day looks like it will be do or die for both sides.
Barry Ferguson made his comeback for Rangers last night but didn't last long before getting injured and taken off. Ha.
Peter Lawell says Celtic would give "serious consideration" to joining a revamped Premier League. Pretty obvious. We're not going to dismiss the notion outright but there's a lot to be considered.
Celtic have been linked with Bruno Aguiar of Hearts who's out of contract at the end of the season. Fantastic signing IMO.
Juventus have been ordered to play a match behind closed doors after their fans racial abused Inter goal-scorer Mario Balotelli. Will Italian football ever rid its self of this type if thing?
And another thing...
Reporting Scotland interviewed a Glasgow-born Rangers fan last night and asked him whether Rangers should join the English Premier League, he replied "No, the Gers are a Scottish club." while wearing England's red away top. Bellend.
