It's just a way of aggressively forcing your views on other people. "I'll die if you don't listen to me" is not and should not be confused with a reasonable or acceptable way of making an argument.
The way news values are skewed these days, I'm just a bit surprised that the self-inflicted suffering the bloke is putting himself through for what he believes in might warrant some attention, even in a rather fleeting "ooh, how very 20th century" sort of way.
I should say.
I was much rather tempted to protest for the Tamils then the pointless G20 protests. I probably would've gone down had i not been home from Uni.
I think there's two of them too. It's pretty pointless as it's not going to make a difference as the British Government can't really do much about it in the immediate future, and it'll just be a wasteful death.
why did you prefer to protest for the tamils and not against the g20?
