They all seem pretty grand in retrospect. I personally preferred Chelsea's 3-1 win against Barca when Flo scored twice but what the hey
Should be in there.
Inter Milan 1 - Arsenal 5
Think it was a better indication of a revival from the CL teams not in Manchester
And Lubo pegging Nedved.
What a game.
And Joss Valbloodygaeran scoring
As was Milans hammering of Barca years back.
For me personally, Rangers 2 Marseille 2 (coming back from 2 goals down) and Rangers 4 PSV 1.
Liverpool beating Milan in the final was fucking incredible right enough.
at the san siro? putting themselves through and inter out in the process
Jerzy Dudek, Steve Finnan, Jamie Carragher, Sami Hyypiä, Djimi Traoré, Xabi Alonso, Luis García, Steven Gerrard, John Arne Riise, Harry Kewell, Milan Baroš
Subs: Scott Carson, Josemi, Dietmar Hamann, Antonio Núñez, Igor Biš?an, Djibril Cissé, Vladimír Šmicer
Rafa Benitez is a friggin' genius.
I'll always maintain what a bloody awesome manager he is, no matter what people say about Liverpool and their apparent failings in the league. That team shouldn't have been good enough. Yeah, Milan fell apart in that second half, but you can only beat the team you're playing against.
He completely muted Milan's attacking through balls and gave the platform for Liverpool's attacking players to do their thing.
Never thought he got the credit he deserved.
So very true. I wish we'd signed him when he went to Newcastle. He was very much appreciated by Liverpool fans.

in the 1994/1995 semi-final, second leg after a 0-0 draw in the first leg, with goals from Litmanen (x2), Finidi George, Ronald De Boer and Marc Overmars.
Ajax would go on to win the Champions League final the follwoing month, against Milan.
but it all ended in tears:
In fact for one instalment Nigeria became 'my' team
Loads of pace all over, I used to love them.
I always use to go Nigeria :)
