WE'RE GOING TO ROME, WE'RE GOING TO ROOOOOOOOOOOME, FUCK YOUR HISTORY, WE'RE GOING TO ROME!
Well, probably not I suppose but we've got a decent record against Barca so we'll see. A neutral's wet-dream last night and pretty damn fucking good from where I was standing, although my vital organs aged by about 20 years. I think we saw the best and worst of Chelsea and Liverpool last night; some brilliant passion and commitment, fantastic passing and counter-attacking, goalkeeping calamity (I fear Cech might have to go now), hilarious defending and utter shapelessness under pressure. Liverpool were fantastic in the first half, although I was displeased with both goals (first was never a free kick, was moved about 5 yards in and then 5 yards towards the goal. Still Cech's fault mind. And Ivanovic DID foul Alonso, can't dispute that, but you'll see those sort of challenges go unpunished every week in the English game). Chelsea were absurdly good until 10 minutes from time too. Best game I've ever been to in terms of atmosphere, definitely one to tell the grandkids abaout.
Oh, some other game happened too. Only 2 goals in it though, so meh.
Carrick is confident Utd can get a win tonight and Adebayor feels Arsenal need to go for the throat right from the start in the Arsenal-Villareal game tonight.
Biggest tranfer "story" is probably Agger's increasingly likely exit from Anfield. But will Barca or AC Milan win his signature?
