Saw this on Saturday and was actually blown away by it. A movie in French about a guy teaching a multi-cultural class...well it sounded like it would be over-worthy bollocks probably culminating in some sort of dreadful tragedy, leaving you feeling ripped to shreds. But, you know, there weren't any other films worth seeing and I held out hope it would confound my expectations.

And it id. It's actually just amazingly entertaining and compelling and possibly my film of the year. Some similarities with The Wire's fourth season classroom sections but seemingly less hopeless, while still being a thoughtful and serious film. See this film for sure.
