also how are you this very moment?
I slept for most of today, had no easter eggs but did have scrambled eggs (yum) and some chocolate so I made do with what I'd got.
Right now I am annoyed my early night was going so well except for the not being able to sleep part, and debating what to watch.
i'm not so bad, really down at the moment but hey, it'll be cool.
feel quite proud of myself in a silly sort of way.
then had a roast dinner, its been pretty lame really and it hasn't really picked up. Maybe tomorow will be better as I might go an eat some cake somewhere.
i'm about to get started on some homework. how was yours?
Got of out bed 5pm
Drove about the mountains and the city 8pm
Laughed at DiS 11pm
went to an indian restaurant earlier, and recently ate the head of a small lindt rabbit. other than eating my day was pretty uneventful.
it inevitably went to shit.
i had a lark with some friends earlier, but that came to an abrupt end when i had to get the last bus home.
i have a free house for the next week or so. what should i do with it?
can i be all self indulgent for a sec?
a girl i know through the film night i do was over this weekend from paris shooting a feature documentary, and i was meant to assist - carrying stuff, getting coffee and so on, which i'm always happy to do, especially on a proper feature project and all, it's good experience and all that.
the second camera guy pulled out at the last minute and left them down one camera man, so they asked if i could do it, and i said, err, yes, so it was really nervewracking, especially with the producer and director looking over my shoulder the whole time at what i was doing and i spent the whole thing thinking "fuck fuck, don't screw up, don't screw up."
so, once the shoot was over, they said i'd done really good, and would i like to go over to paris to shoot their next feature with them? :D :D :D :D
i'm quite happy about this.
that's amazing man! i'm so happy for you :D!
keep me updated on how it goes yes? also what's the documentary about?
the one today was about the filmmaker Bruce LaBruce, who i'm not really so familiar with, but from what little i do know, i'm thinking i probably can't show the film to my mam and dad and then be all proud of my name being at the end (he mostly seems to make gay porn, though does do experimental, less porny stuff too).
next one is much more kosher though and is about the social history of lingerie. mmm. :)
Friday - Went over girlfriends.
Saturday - Saw girlfriend.
Sunday - Got Easter eggs, played football, went over friend's and played Top Trumps and drunken Simpsons Monopoly.
in the car I played MPP & Feels - my Mum (77) loves AC - success!
We had a lovely walk along the cliff overlooking the river at Radcliffe-on-Trent. Went to dinner in the evening at a restaurant in Plumtree (in the old railway station).
Today started off sad - I heard that my neighbour Jim died yesterday from cancer - he had a good life and leaves about 40 descendants.
Nice roast lunch. Long chat with sister in Israel on Skype. Brother came round - I tried in vain to persuade him to go to Bestival - even offering to pay ffs
Stuffed about 350 envelopes for the council elections. Listened to NIN & Jane's Addiction on Spotify most of the evening. Prepared to go out, only to decide not to bother.
Have you downloaded the NIN|JA Tour EP? Are you heading to see them in the summer?
- they review of Fuck Buttons was the best :)
Yes, I did download it - in fact that is what got me started. And yes I am heading over to see them at Oxegen in fact. I'm really looking forward to Oxegen, and to seeing Ireland. My sister is joining me for the festival, but I'll be hanging around to tour round the country a bit.
However I'd like to pop over to Manchester, gonna try and grab a ticket in the presale on Tuesday.
Do you think it'll really be the last tour?
but I really wouldn't know - it would be good to see them from a decent seat at the Arena in Mancs though so good luck with that.
- I've twice had great seats there and once had an awful one. The best was for Arcade Fire when I was just parallel to the front of the stage.
