people must be out having social lives and what have you... what's everyone up too?
I am actually knackered. Just watched the Doc on iplayer, and am now going to curl up in bed and watch more eps of the Doc til blissful sleep arrives.
I'm going to do myself a special Easter breakfast in the morning, as I have nobody here to spend Easter with... So that's something worth getting out of bed for!
I'm going wake up and see if it's worked.
Yeah I managed to catch the end of Doctor Who, I can't believe out of all his assistants the Tennant didn't kiss Michelle Ryan, as she has probably been the most attractive.
What does your special easter breakfast entail...
Well, she kissed him. BITCH.
Hmmm it should be good. Scrambled eggs on toast, followed by strawberries (with melted choc) and maybe a mini bottle of champers I've got stashed away for just such an occasion.
NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM :D
Concrete mould for what?
Concrete mould for my sculptures :O My work gets assessed soon...
Basically, I plan on making a trio of concrete steeples, like my drawing shows:
and this is what I did today,
I basically made the mould from timbre and then turned it upside down and filled it with concrete, which was amazingly exhausting, and it's so heavy >_< The I'll pull the wood of and have a concrete mould... I hope it works.
:) well impressed.
thats gonna look hellish if it works
I'm planning on photographing them in forests and things... that's if it works.
When I was pouring the concrete in the wood was starting to bow on one side which was worrying... I'm half expecting to go in, in the morning for it to have just exploded or something hehe >_<
I like this title though it made me laugh
'The Concrete Mould, With Concrete. Inside.' :D
yeah put them in the woods
I loved that title
It reminded me of
'OK FINE, Physician's Desk Reference ...hollowed out.INSIDE: waterproof matches, iodine tablets, beet seeds, protein bars, NASA blanket and, in case I get bored, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. '
I had an image of you crying over it, so I swiftly reacted.
untitled 20 was NOT doing it for me
and having a cup of tea and some biscuits
It's slow and very boring. I probably won't listen to half of them either.
just been doing some tracking and watching some movies 'welcome to good burger, home of the good burger, can i take your order nhurrr'
It was really sunny there and it's shite here. I'm listening to Zu, drinking wine and trying to make my dog calm the fuck down. It's not working.
In Norwich there is only one word for 'snow',
and two-hundred words for 'Ipswich'.
I was at my boyfriend's parent's place in Martlesham, which is a village just outside of Ipswich. It's like walking through a David Lynch set, and I love it.
and i'm wathing fear and loathing now.
my heads all ARGHAGHHHRHHhgHg! though so i can't concentrate on it.
however i think u should write out whats bothering you so even if no one replys or cares its atleast off ur chest
I watched Synecdoche New York for a second time, it's so amazing, I almost started it again straight after if finished. I'm now listening to some tracks from the Zoey Van Goey album, I've always been fairly uncertain about them but they sound good. Might go for a cigarette in a minute. Slow night.
What's it about?
It's quite sprawling in it's plot really. It's by Charlie Kaufman, who wrote Being John Malkovich and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, so if you've ever seen any of those you'll know his films are usually a bit bizzare. Essentially though it's about a theatre director played by Philip Seymour Hoffman who builds a massive set of New York in an abandoned warehouse and tries to re-stage practically his whole adult life, reality and the play become entangled. The reaction on imdb might sell it to you a bit better, though I'd really recommend it
I love Charlie Kaufman. This film has totally passed me by, yeah, will definitely check that out...
I walked into Soho, bought some CDs, looked at loads of books on architecture in Foyles that I want but can't afford (I want this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Endless-City-Ricky-Burdett/dp/0714848204/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1239493057&sr=8-1 SO MUCH), went to meet Bamos/LLB/Stealthy/OTHERS in a pub for a drink, walked over to Farringdon, met some more alcxxk/heartbeeps/lw/jb/ehwhat, saw some awesome bands, walked home. NOW MY FEET HURT.
i drove a hundred miles tonight.. yet it doesn't feel like it
