Mr Solo + The Indelicates at the Barfly?
Patio Set + Internet Forever at the Wilmington Arms?
To headline the festivities, we are super proud to announce THE PATIO SET; four young men from Medway who make loud music with funny rhythms and some loud music with normal rhythms and some quiet music that gets loud loud like Shellac and then quiet again. We love these chaps; (especially James, he’s our favourite) and we know you will too.
Next up, a band that is just a little bit awesome: we unreservedly love them… seriously. INTERNET FOREVER have supported some of the hottest bands around this year and certainly know how to write the cutest tunes ever. Described as ‘the kind of band that you secretly wish never get well-known and you can put on mix tapes so when people in your car ask "who is this?" you can be the smuggest indie kid ever. Which is definitely a good thing.’ Well worth a listen, accompanied by a bit of a bamboogie.
Next on the bill, for your listening pleasure we present the mighty mighty FRIENDSHIP-these guys are SiiiiiCK! Nuff said. Just announced on the same show with Future of the Left at The Great Escape Festival, check out these bad boys via their Myspace-do it, now, please!
And to open proceedings are the insanely talented Peepholes. Hailing from the sea, well actually Brighton, the duo grace the capital with their keyboards, loud guitars and electronic drums. Please do catch them its not often you’re gonna catch a band this unique/good round Londontown!
And if you’re super lucky, we’ll tell you where the after party is…
All this mayhem is located at the Wilmington Arms, 69 Rosebery Avenue, EC1R 4RL:
