i'm sure he was the worst behaved policman that day huh?
Why? Couldn't you have just asked about poo or where to buy nice shirts or something?
they're like, "yep we know who it was, here he is, string him up, anything that stops you talking about our conduct in general."
If you assault someone and they later die, even if they have a pre-existing condition, you're still liable for manslaughter whether you knew about the condition or not. Perhaps that's unfair. The simplest way to avoid it though - don't assault people.
Incidentally, the fact the officer removed his badge and covered his face suggests he knew he was acting unlawfully, so I really have no sympathy.
There's no way that whacking a guy with his hands in his pockets and his back to you and pushing him over is proportionate.
kik - you are just being disingenious there, there was no rioting directly involving the people in the video at that point
Even if it turns out it had no impact on the man's death and it's just for assault.
I'd like to know what made him push him over though - I don't want to believe that he just creamed him cos he felt like it.
Also why do the police always storm in on the peaceful protesters? I want to see them go toe to toe with anarchists. Put it on pay per view, the recession's over tomorrow. Put a massive cage up around Bank
and if computer games have taught me anything, packages of food
(actually probably hair neatness would give it away)
plus you would be able to tell from the normally out of view 'brandings'
You could argue he was unlucky to be caught if other policemen did worse but he still is on camera appearing to assault someone so, even ignoring the fact the person later died, he deserves to be charged.
Dragging his feet and moving along as slowly as possible.
He wound them up and one of them lashed out.
Now he's dead.
if a lesson is to be learnt from this, it is:
