i'm going to the pub.
4 day weekend ftw. glad i'm ill.
I FEEL LIKE ITS FRIDAY!!
:( waking up this morning was the hardest thing to do! if i would stop being an absolute mess it would make life easier!
Train - Carmarthen to Cardiff
Talk to the loud, giggly employment agency woman
Babysit for my 11 month old nephew
which is how I know she's loud and giggly. She wants to see me - probably fancies me
go back to bed
Saturday - seeing my brother off as he leaves to go to America for the next 6 months
Sunday/Monday - unplanned, but will involve easter eggs, the missus and football manager.
that despite not being at all Christian my mum always eat fish on Good Friday...
She's obviously hiding something in the closet...
and a strap on
nowt to worry aboot
good to see my parents are still enjoying a healthy relationship.
Saturday: spending my £50 gift voucher in Harvey Nicks, then pub
Also: does Harvey Nicks sell anything for men, for under £50, that I can buy?
well, they've got a bloody good food hall. buy some posh food.
Have a word with yourself woman. I'd rather buy half a shoe.
Tomorrow: all dayer at the Windmill. ELEVEN bands!! and bbq and meats and stuff.
Sunday: lunch somewhere with a bunch of DiSers.
In between: dunno! See what takes my fancy. I should probably see my family at some point.
Oh and I'll probably be working from home next week while the boss is off. It'll be hard work :)
then i'm going to TIDY MY ROOM!!!!1!!111
my life is fun
then tomorrow 'm going back to the folks for the weekend. yay, folk
Tomorrow: manly car maintenance day with my Dad followed by intensely nerdy Goldeneye/Sega Saturn birthday celebrations with my nerdy old school friend.
Saturday: get completely shitfaced with my family for my mum's birthday
Sunday: get completely shitfaced with my family for my mum's birthday
Tomorrow: St Pancras
Satuday: Val Thorens
You're going to Augusta?
I'm seriously considering ACTUALLY going there next year though. Up for it?
Tomorrow and Saturday I'm decorating the kitchen. Almost 3 years to the day after moving in and meaning to make a start. Did all the donkey prep a fortnight ago so it's really just the painting to go.
Sunday, Mass first thing, round to one set of parents for a cuppa, back home for roast beef, then round to the other set of parents for a cuppa.
Monday, hopefully the park, driving lesson and Middlesex Cup Final.
going for lunch and record shopping, then heading to leeds with them to see Nate Young and Aaron Dilloway.
Tomorrow: maybe go to utm_usic's gig, or go home for the weekend. Undecided.
Even if it was in bloody Stockwell...
how fucked are my ears going to be afterwards? I've been looking forward to this for ages. Gig scene has been a bit quiet of late.
try stand in the middle though as wildly different things come out of each speakers. He's fully embracing the stereo sound!
I remember the first time I went to the pub on Good Friday, my mum went mental
Saturday - Going to that Star Wars thing at the 02 I think.
Sunday -Going to the supermarket to buy cheap Easter eggs
my mum on the phone last night was annoyed cos i suggested i go round on saturday instead of sunday.
don't even bother asking me to go to church with them at easter anymore, although the first time I worked in the bookies instead of going to mass on Good friday I thought God would send a plague upon our shop.
I was going to go :(
No, the phoenix strongly advised against it, said two of their most popular nights had done good friday in recent years and absolutely bombed because it's right in the centre of town.
Since it was our second birthday we decided to delay it a month.
I hope everyone got the message it wasn't happening!
i'd put down not attending originally and only found out the date had changed because i was randomly going through my events and staring confused thinking "why can't i do may 8th? what's happening may 8th that's made me not do that", then i clicked on the event and was like "oh"
so yeah, that was just luck
and can now!
we don't have a clue!
all the supermarkets are shut on Easter Sunday, except maybe the "Tesco local" types
So can everyone stop going on about their bloody long weekends please?
Still, can't complain too much, double pay all long weekend and my next 2 weekends are of the long variety...
Friday - Peaches at the RFH
Saturday - No plans
Sunday - Duckie
Monday - No plans
Might try and have a sensible Easter for once
But the overwhelming urge to spend the whole weekend in the pub is hard to resist
I THINK I MIGHT DO THAT.
Damn this plan is failing already.
Monday = Maybe...
Although I get paid on the bloody Tuesday... Thanks Camden, I really get to enjoy myself this weekend with the lack of money I have and the work you make me do...
I'm picturing a Friends/Frasier warm-hearted sitcom scenario with you and an ever-rotating cast of buddies.
It's expensive, the bar staff are horrible, the screens are too small if you want to watch the footie and the toilets smell like death.
It's my favourite pub in the whole wide world.
The rest of your picture is pretty much spot on though.
and don't you forget it.
on either Sunday or Monday, I'd be well up for that)
tonight: going out with work people I think
tomorrow: sleeping till 12. parents visiting in afternoon/evening
saturday: catching up with friends
sunday/monday: haven't really planned that far ahead yet. really want to see a film or two this weekend. not sure what else is on really...
tomorrow - party? maybe cinema to see 17Again
saturday - wander round Greenwich, hopefully go to Star Wars Musical
sunday - easter roast at my aunts
monday - go to car boot sale in Dalston. it'll be lol
in that no mans land bit between SN high street and Kingsland road
tomorrow all day!
going to norwich to play a gig and see bands and such
playing a gig at the wilmington arms with Friendship and other bands
in hospital making money
in hospital in the morning, interested in finding something to do with the afternoon though
and a driving lesson, and tea and cake and thorpe park and Jesus again.
Tomorrow - getting drunk in a pub
Saturday - dunno
Sunday - dunno
Is there some kind of all-weekend Coffee House action going down?
From half 12. See you there.
i still don't like the ending but the rest is fun
i bought borat and being john malkovich on dvd. i haven't seen either before.
i bought dananananaykroyd's album at last and pet sounds because i don't own a copy myself and philip seymour hoffman made me want to listen to it (also it was only £4)
now i'm going to do the washing up and vacuum the flat
out of @30 people 4 came. However one of them was the girl I like, and i now know she can play Killing Moon on the guitar but, and it's a big but, she's still got a bloody boyfriend.
