i don't know so much about guitars or indeed electronics.
I've got a Jagmaster and had a day off today so thought I'd give it a clean and set up as I'm starting a new band playing guitar which I haven't done for some years. So after opening it up, I find that the scratch plate and electronics just lift right up, I have a loose wire coming from the body.

I think its the grounding wire that comes from the bridge/springs in the back. Shall I solder it back to the input jack or what?
