Anyone had a trouble with this? Does it take ages?
but then I've ordered hundreds of things and they always send out a replacement if something gets lost. You do usually have to wait a week or longer but it's worth it because it's so cheap.
It usually takes between 10 days and 3 weeks when I order things from America.
...never had a problem, usually get goods no later than 10 days after purchasing
I usually get my goods within 2 weeks, maybe I should've made that clearer.
Having been through Atalnta airport, I'm not filled with confidence.
at least over 90% and lots and lots of sales. This means that I usually end up using Caiman_usa, Import CDs UK or Moviemars. I trust all of them, but I see you're ordering a book (I assume), so I'm not sure about them.
just been reminded
for 60 quid worth of CDs. Their standard reply is "your order has been shipped via Air Mail from the USA and usually arrives between 7-14 business days after shipment. Sometimes international shipments are delayed due to circumstances outside our influence (customs checks and backups, etc.)"
they may be waiting to source all untill making a shipment....or is it from different sellers?
and they say they've shipped it.
the latest arrival date contact via amazon....if you havent already. then maybe start a claim process. the only time i ever had a problem i was almost immediately refunded....and then the cd arrived!!!
See above for their reply. It's just deciding how long to wait before starting the claim process. I don't want this hassle, I want my CDs.
i used to sell a lot of cds on market place and if i'd forgotten to send summit i'd just say it was delayed in the post.
and yeah they might be waiting for all of the CDs to be available before sending them out.

not yet had an issue.
they're usually very reliable, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Keep in contact with them and just demand your money back if they never arrive.
We got our cardboard CD sleeves delivered from the States and customs failed to be able to contact us because they're morons. Eventually we got an email that said if we didn't contact them in the next few days they'd destroy them all and they'd been waiting for us for AGES.
So chances are it's stuck in customs. I'm not sure how you actually contact them pro-actively to get hold of your goods, though.
send CDs individually to avoid customs charges. bad for the environment, great for your wallet!
and the stuff takes a while to arrive, but to be honest I don't mind that much. I'm happy to wait if it means cheaper CDs.
with the tanking exchange rates, caiman isn't much cheaper anymore. i ended up ordering the new handsome furs / casiotone albums direct from amazon because the free shipping made it cheaper.
good for UK labels i guess!
and the despatch is prompt but the mail transit takes a couple of weeks
but very cheap, and excellent service
