i'm confused as to what this might say about me.
Surely it'd make a mess of their clothes?
Anyway yeah, damp freshly washed hair smells nice so maybe that's it?
maybe towelled slightly. but still "wet" rather than "damp".
i find it really cute. i think maybe this makes me horribly patronising :(
something quite endearing about it. its a girl that is not trying to be 'all that' as she clearly doesnt have to spend a few hours getting ready. wash & go INNIT
THe wet hair acts as a signifier 'I was recently in the shower' which leads you to unconsciouly think about them in the shower, naked and moist, their hands trailing all over their bodies...
it's SUBconscious INNIT?
Maybe they've had a bath.
then they're running late and probably didn't have time for a bath?
plus, how many people take a bath first thing in the morning?
Because they can't install a shower in her flat due to water pressure constraints or something.
Costs more each time you have a shower as they use about 1.21 gigawatts.
and wasn't the video i intended to link to.
Then had to get out hurridly and with no time to dry their hair.
I have no metrics on how people clean themselves in the morning: bathe/shower/wash/wet-wipe
This could be a ground-breaking piece of research.
That's some major sleeping in time you're factoring there.
"I COULD get up now but, hey, why not snooze another 10 mins and just rub myself down with a wet-wipe?"
in my book
due to the fact, hairdryers makes it go frizzy!
i'm not sure whether to believe you...
i'm sure there's more than one girl with damp hair gets on the train from time to time, but if you're telling the truth, there's a slim chance this whole thread was inspired by you.
that's not so clear a picture, and also, i can't say i was paying a huge amount of attention - i didn't really see the girl on the train for any duration of time or anything. it's possible.
if you were only interested in the hair... therefore that picture is extremely clear. ha
dry's no good :(
WHO WANTS SOME?
I can never quite pin his geography down...
That's like saying 'That Chas and Dave....where are they from again?"
...No, no it's not.
everyone has knees up with a violin at the local, smoke coal, bathe in Tetleys and use spacehoppers for public transport
the only option is to dry it properly and brush thoroughly.
I don't actually own a hairdryer, but when I went to Supersonic with 5 guys who post on here, there were 2 hairdryers present. Anyone want to play guess the DiSers?
& yes to Pictures. I've yet to get any popcorn at Pictures! This time, oh yes.
You doing ATP then?
can't afford both this year :(
i will be sure to reserve you some popcorn! although i suspect this month will see a downturn in attendance, following two boom months. expecting a medium-sized crowd. it might be just as well. it will mean plenty of popcorn.
if my annoying colleague hadn't already snapped up the time off for it. But have Primavera too so can't really complain.
So it's a bear market this time huh? I'll drink more beers and eat popcorn to make up for lower numbers. Maybe this will cause me to take up more space too.
bringing several changes of clothes and hairstyles, and constantly changing in the toilets to convince the owners that you are, in fact, several people.
and at least one of your personas should have damp hair :)
I agree on both counts. Wet hair is a good look, bed hair is a good look. I don't like hair that's been straightened to within an inch of its life.
i'm a boy tho :(
the one time I've done this it didn't go down well
but it made my hair look rubbish after it had dried, so nowadays i'm just late to work instead
only cos my hairdryer exploded a few days ago and i haven't got round to getting a new one yet
