Two tests sat in front of a computer, what kind of thing would you expect?
but local government innit.
I'm guessing, though, that unless the job has very specific requirements (ie. stats or something) then they'll be generic typing'n Office tasks?

theyre just numerical reasoning, its gcse maths level stuff but it can be tricky if you haven't done anything like it for awhile, google numeracy tests for some practice ones, im guessing the other one would be verbal reasoning
Part two, easy. Part one, reading a government consultation paper response relating to a consultation paper regarding a white paper and summarising it for Councillors explaining what it means to THEM. No information as to what information or understanding they might already have (I assumed none as is usually the case). Brain could not cope with it this morning!
Damn it, i like my job :(
