I called a stranger a chimp this morning
someone on here called someone a chimp a while ago and i guess it kinda stuck with me.
some fucking goon was standing in front of the ticket barriers, joking with his invicta bag-wearing friends who had already gone through and hovering his oyster over the sensor without bleeping in.
I waited liek 5 seconds
then said "As soon as you like you fucking chimp"
think I might have still been a bit drunk.

I don't think so. Chimp in and of itself shouldn't be a racist insult.
But years of football fans making monkey noises at black players and the use of the term 'monkey', 'gorilla' etc. specifically to black people make it dubious to use against any black person.
Personally I'd say an insult that is racist is a much more serious insult. Fair enough if you don't feel that way.

Big night last night?
There was a big queueueue for the barriers yesterday evening
and some schmunt did the 'beeping an empty oyster card then trying to walk through then standing up against the barriers beeping it again before pushing against the crowd to get out and go and top his card up' trick, and I wanted everyone to hiss at him and shout 'Shame!' but they didn't.
In his defence though
I only discovered this moring that my oyster card just gives an error code when it doesn't have enough money on it. Rather than just saying 'error, fund only 90p'. Stupid 'kin thing.
I applaud the use of the word chimp.
While we are at it 'goon' is also a particular favourite of mine.
