Nut roast with cannellini beans and potatoes in a spicy tomato sauce.
I made them both from scratch. The nut roast was pretty damn tasty and I adapted a Patatas Bravas recipe to include the beans, making my sauce from a pack of Tesco passata, several bay leaves, hot chilli powder, garlic, smoked paprika, oregano, basil and red wine.
The nut roast was freshly ground brazil nuts and cashews with some ground almonds and freshly ground home-made bread with some onions and mushrooms, stock and plenty of rosemary and oregano.
Despite these two dishes not being from the same cultural background they went together like a fucking mad one. Great food. I R MASTERCHEF.
