I have long sung the praises of Dan Hannan on here; he is the Euro-sceptic's knight in shining armour.

Earlier in the week Gordon Brown gave a speech to the European Parliament and then Euro MPs were given a chance to respond. Under the rules you only get to speak for 3 mins, and in those 3 mins Hannan managed to make himself a global superstar with, it is important to add, any help from the mainstream media.
