I'm not going to watch that clip lest it spoil my fun.
but it is a ninety second clip of Clough's first day at Leeds...the whole 'throw your pots n pans...' skit.
I'm seeing the film tomorrow night. I am so, so excited. It had better be good, or I'm gonna be weeping.
I was waiting for him to break out "GET YOUR HANDS OFFFF HIM!!!"
"IT FUCKIN' STINKS OF CURRY IN 'ERE"
Were squads really that small in the 70's?
He's really channelling the spirit of Clough, the impression is pretty spot on.
won the league title in 1981 using only 14 players.
And people talk today about tiredness.
Up your bum Wenger, Benitez etc.
There was no 30 man squads back then. 11 starters and 1 sub.
they didn't play as many games though.
(Hardly an excuse)
he's accent is rubbish
I'm only going on the clips I've seen in the lead up to the films release, which I imagine were selected to match the actors version.if you know what I mean.
Also, is Billy Bremner being played by the guy from The League of Gentlemen?
I thought it was Steve Pemberton.
