but I'd read/seen everything in it already at the exhibition the book was based on, and so it wasn't a leap of faith.
and that i've never really looked at much. i basically bought it on the strength of one photograph i'd seen at the tate. i might sell it on e-bay

i own a book which cost about £100 or something new though. Leather bound copy of Dante's inferno, about 1 and a half foot tall, with beautiful, high quality plates of the Blake illustrations
IT'S WELL GOOD apart from the fact I stop giving a shit at around 1968.
I took a book from Senate House Library and accidentally checked it back into the LSE WHO THREW IT AWAY and then I had to replace it or I wouldn't be allowed to graduate
£25 (I think) for From Hell and I think over £30 for a couple of photography books and some big reference books.
Oh and that Penguin box set that cost loads but I got that for free.
