on now. Missed first five minutes. Shit!
than Paddy's character being introduced.
but I wish i paid slightly more attention while watching it :(
who each character is. I didn't figure out that Eric Hall was the policeman/pimp/possible murderer until about 10 minutes ago.
That Bob character is such a scary little weasel.
I'm still trying to take it all in.
I expect that everything will be tied up a bit more in the final episode.
I liked how they don't pander to the audience and give everything to you on a plate.
*possible spoiler* it's rather annoying that they included Sean Bean's character in the trailer for the next episode, I'd assumed he'd been killed when he was shot last week.
it completely threw me when he walked in the room to find Bob dead, I thought he was going to see a beaten Yorkshire Ripper then the revelation that his pal was one of the gunmen was a nice one two combo.
I thought the guy playing Bob was incredible. So intense.
Why can't all TV be like this?
in the toilet it was so intense, he was nasty shit.
Hopefully this will give British Drama a shot in the arm that it needs.
I'm just reading about Peter Sutcliffe, what an awful human being.
and because they haven't always got an excellent writer to work from, and shedloads of cash at their disposal.
If I'd have rented that as a DVD, I wouldn't have felt let down. Quality piece of work, very cinematic, great twist at the end. A+++, will watch final part with interest.
actors in this is quite astounding.
slowly gathering pace, but by the end....wow.
where for the most part you keep thinking 'what on earth is happening, I want answers dammit' then all the little threads start to tie together.
Like a high class murder mystery, but with the added weight that it won't be tied up all nice and neatly.
The cast was very good, I liked the fact that they used typical accents of the area and it was really well shot. Also, i recognised that devilish detective (Bob?) as Ian Curtis in 24 hour party people.
it was really bothering me that I knew him from somewhere. I guess the fact that he had ginger hair and a moustache stopped me from getting it. It's annoying, on the IMDB page for it only 11 of the actors are actually listed.
well he'd fit in in other work. He's quite unconventional looking and quite intense.
sounds pretty interesting. I imagine that he could become a very good character actor.
out. Serial Killers are quite fascinating, and British ones all the more.
drilled was really gruesome, that and the fact they killed his little girl. I thought it was the wife at first.
