A real mixed bag of a film. Great performance from Tom Hardy, real charisma and prescence. And there were some good ideas throughout the film in particular the way Bronson told much of his story to a theatre audience, and an amusing/bizarre dance scene that saw inmates dance/jump around to Its a Sin by The Pet Shop Boys.
However at the end of the day its a story about a thug and thats it, there isn't really much to tell and he doesn't have a particularly interesting back story, he just fights and swears.
In fact take out Hardys performance and it would be a rather disappointing film, he just manages to save it from being totally average.
