This literally deserves a million hits, for all the wrong (right) reasons. The follow up "emos" is perhaps even worse.
is like one of those genius comedy sketches... although he doesnt even know it? brilliant.
why why why?
I think the emos one is worse though, there are a few total Brent moments in that.
"i just packed my bags and left"
too much stress'
what a conch.
and this is what we're left with?
What a twunt.
no? just me then.
he sounds a bit like him too.
This guy is awesome. He must be new here.
"you can call me oosh"
Fuck me sideways! Dariush Rashidi! And he got even more... whatever the word is to describe his condition.
do you remember the "alan mcgee incident"? Jesus.
Do you remember "Does anyone like The Smiths?" "No, they're shit." "...oh. Well I'm going to play a song by The Smiths" "Well I won't listen" "..." ?
I think I remember that now. You were especially rude on that occasion, I think I even told you so. He got really annoyed by the third song and said "will you be quiet and listen to me!". Amazing.
Do you actually know what I'm talking about regarding the Alan McGee incident though? If not, you need to know. It's in my top 5 favourite anecdotes.
My arse. I was the best behaved that night by far. I was a champ.
As for the McGee incident, I vaguely remember it was something to do with him getting a letter written all in CAPS summoning him to London for a meeting with the man hisself.
Was that nothing but a cruel hoax?
it involved a post on his message board from alan himself (me) telling him that he wanted to sign him to six album deal. obviously jokes.
he caught a train to london and turned up at creation management demanding to see alan.
"he left a message on my message board."
"he did, let me see him right now!"
then two security people had to remove him from the building.
that story is incredible.
Did he not think there might be some kind of, I dunno, formal confirmation?
Than Horne and Corden.
you could all have heard his solo material. Oh my.
is of you surely? Can't think why it'd be of any interest otherwise...and he reminded me more of Graham Coxon somehow.
It's definitely of me. I've just made this home video of myself and it's so monumentally epic that I just wanted the whole of DiS to see it.
