I want to go to Glastonbury.
I don't want to go to Glastonbury
i am not going.
latitude this year thanq
Bit gutted now that Blur are headlining, but I'm seeing them at Hyde Park so it could be worse. I'll probably go next year though, what with it being the last one before the break
I'll just sleep in LLB's tent.
my whole family is going
we're taking a van, man
we're going to watch Springsteen as a unit and its going to make it into the highlights of our lives
slim i bets :(
baught ticket back in December wooooo
But just for travelling, "roughing it" with everyone else when we get there.
Can anyone convince me, as a not-really-a-big-blur-fan why I should go and see them if there's nowt else on?
ummed and ahhed about it for a while but now the line up is starting to come out i am excited :D
Delighted with the 3 headliners and if I have even half as good a time as I did last year then it will be amazing. There is a crowd of about 25 of us coming from Glasgow/Edinburgh!
have you got ur tickets or not? Or are you going to get the limited re-release :O The chances of getting tickets then look quite poor
does not computer *explodes*
latitude would be nice also though.
It's all about the sandy suffolk soil
i have a ticket and so far it's the only festival that any of my friends are planning to go to. But I'm not that bothered about the headliners and I could spend that money on a holiday or something. So i might return the ticket for a refund (-£10 admin fee) by May 8th. I'll wait and see who else gets confirmed before then...
can't wait for june!
Wellington College´s class of 2009, the foreign exchange trading team at Morgan Stanley and the entire population of Putney.
flock to Latitude. LOLOLOOLOLOLOLOL!!!11
Top Latitude quote of 2008:
´No India! That`s daddy´s Yakult´
We could recreate the travellers' areas from the past with redundant bankers! They could craft credit cards from bare wood
I'm a tad worried because last year was great because only people who wanted to be there were there, not people who believed it was "cool" to go a la 2007. I hope the crowd is as good fun, and the weather as good (it did piss down on thurs and fri).
The headliners look epic, some usual dross, but Fleet Foxes and Animal Collective point at better things on the undercards. Plus it's Glastonbury, it's great fun
Hopefully that whole festival trend has died out a bit now
I loved last year but this could be because of the lack of mud. However, I was very impressed with my never ending cider from two years ago. It was raining so much, my pint was always being topped up with rain water. I was like a reversed Jesus, turning my alcohol drink into water.
that folk were more impressed and easily influenced the other way around ;)
Bring it on.
