This weekend's football then
In the absence of both ht and anything better to do/discuss, here's some football "news".
Beckham has finally agreed a deal with AC Milan, staying on loan at the club until June, then returning to LA Galaxy over the summer and rejoining Milan on a free (as his contract stipulates he can) in November. That's one saga down then.
Valenica's admission yesterday that they have almost no money has renewed interest in their star players, namely David Villa and David Silva. With Abramovich having vowed to delve into his funds this summer and City having previously indidicated interest in both players, a deal COULD (probably won't) be quite interesting to follow.
Wenger both slates Ronaldo's arrogance and suggests the Man Utd winger should get greater protection from refs. Somewhere in Merseyside, Rafa's head has exploded.
FA Cup action tomorrow, with ITV most probably transmitting pictures of a cute baby lamb being fed rather than the bore-fest that is Coventry-Chelsea from around midday. Arsenal are still playing catch-up, clashing with Burnely for a second time this season.
Nottingham Forest have completed the loan signing of Birmingham City striker Gary McSheffrey and there is plenty of other league loan action as the deadline looms.
