Hello! I'm Micky!
Nice to meet you!
How do you do?
How're the family?
I'm about to watch the Lion King.
precious, beautiful etiquette.
No, piss off.
I'm Nick, my birth certificate says nicholas, but noone calls me this. I have one aunt who calls me Nicky, it frustrates me, but I grin and bear it. I only see her about once a year anyway.
The familys well thanks, The Lion King is my favourite disney film.
How're you doing today? Got any plans?
Yeah, technically I'm a Michael, but my friends either call me Micky or Dizzle, much to my disgression.
The Lion King is awesome, I've not seen it in a long while. Along with Aladdin, it's also my favourite disney film.
DiS is not helping :(
I was going to say, I dont know many Michaels that choose to be called Micky. My brother used to watch it every day between the ages of 6-7, so I had to watch it a fair bit too. I think I can do the whole script.
I've never owned aladdin, but the two or three times I've seen it I've loved it.
What else have you got planned?
I might do something nice tonight.
Aaah I'm not too fussed about Micky, I much prefer it to Michael anyway, but the name M-Dizzle has spread like wildfire amongst my circle of friends, to the point where my Mum called me Dizzle the other day... I might explain to her that it's short for MDMA.
I've got to set up a projector for a meeting shortly, but then I'm going to head up to the studio and have a listen to some stuff I recorded during Half-term. That'll be nice.
Thanks very much!
You were to adhere to basic social conventions of conversation now and then, you wouldn't be such a negative-norman all the time.
It is a beautiful day. The frost when I woke up this morning, mixed with the early morning sunlight was awesome, really set me up for a good day.
It's all about being very, very nice.
I'm from Bradford, which is near Leeds. I like it up here.
My first pet was a dog called Prince, he was quite old and depressed when I came along though, and didn't take to me very kindly. We got another dog called Kim when he snuffed it though, and she's mint.
Nice to meet you too!
I am very well thank you, just finished a cup of tea and it was very pleasant.
The family are well - mum and dad are at work, and I imagine my brother is asleep as it is 5.45am EST.
I am doing journalistic law revision and about to have a very early lunch as silly timetabling has created a class at 12 and no lunch break!
It's a pleasure. Whereabouts are you from?
I'm currently on a little break at work, so I had a cup of tea and a chocolate Digestive, they were both great in every way.
Aaaah! Whereabouts is your brother? Anywhere nice?
Journalistic Law sounds very deep and interesting, do you want to be a Journalist, or a Lawyer, or a Journalism Lawyer, or a Journalist that focuses on Law?
My brother lives in New York! He's a lucky bunny.
I'm a trainee journalist, doing a post-grad at the moment but I'm hoping to work as a reporter in the next 6 months.
We have to do tons of law and things to protect ourselves and such.
Ooh tea and a digestive sounds brilliant, I'm planning on making another cup and attacking my cob and crisps very soon.
How nice. And New York is craaazy... Does he work there?
That sounds mint. I'd like to be a journalist. I bet you get to meet alot of interesting people.
Ah I'll bet you do, I guess the Papparazi get alot of stick sometimes.
I might get another cuppa now, and another Digestive! Mmmm!
On Tuesday night I went out with alot of friends in Leeds and didn't get in til Half 3, and had to be up for work at half 6, so I was tiiiiired... But then last night I went for a 'nap' at 6pm before going out in Bradford, but the nap turned into a 13 hour sleep until half 7 this morning! :D
That sounds fantastic! I remember when I found out I'd gotten the place I wanted too, it was an amazing feeling.
You enjoy that Henry.
I'm used to fairly late nights very consistently (Been out most nights of 2009 so far, it's been fun), but one killer night can knock me out sometimes. But yeah, having 2 hours sleep one night, and 13 the next really has made me feel odd...
Kids! Bless them. I never liked my uniform, so i wasn't quite as eager.
The name developed a few weeks ago when we were recording some piano tracks for our album, and all the melodies I invented, my band mate said came out like 'Musical Theatre', and because I somehow managed to record them all in one take, I became:
'The One Take Andrew Llyod Ivory Dizzle Shnizzle Webber Dey'
Nyawh... The Lion King is making me feel all nostalgic.
I didn't mean it...
Maybe simba shouldve kept a diary, rather than vent his emotions.
