A lot of stuff that's occurring seems a bit out of character given the realism of previous series?
i found the whole thing too outlandish even by mcnutty's standards. I still enjoyed the series though and how it ended, it just wasnt up there with previous series
but it gets really good towards the end
but i agree, i didnt like the change in mcnulty or freamon, i didnt expect them to do that despite the short cuts they had taken in the previous series this wasnt something i expected them to - especially lester.
mcnulty could maybe have done that... but lester was way too unbelievable.
i found myself loving bunk even more in s5 as a result.
bunk became one of my favourite characters, and bodie because of series 5
he was s4. but the point is the same. characters who have been in it a while become brilliant from their work in certain seasons
Last couple of episodes are better than the first eight. There was so much crap in it like they were just filling.
almost as good as the previous ones. the order is thus:
As things currently stand
All the humour in it. Personally...
And the roles in particular of Cutty / Omar / Stringer
