to new 'capitalist market cities' when there is boom no longer, what are they going to eat?
Leaders everywhere seem to show a callous disregard for their peoples future welfare, they all seem to have abandoned the responsibility of trying to ensure their peoples future food supply, willingly handing over any responsibility to keep their people safe to 'market forces' (when they know full well that market forces are subject to many other factors other than absolute necessity) they are quite dispicable in this
creating shortage or glut....to modify prices....by people unaffeected otherwise by their decisions.....and the true figures are hidden by national boundariy law, yet the trade is not prevented....then leaders MUST regulate)
Food markets MUST be regulated now....it will need to be done in stages as the distribution of where food is now produced is very irregular compared with previous times.....govs give subsardies and limit all sorts of other things....why food could not be regulated, monitored and guided by authorities, with guidance of WHO....and the world banks backing this up to give subsidy where needed, and to make best use of land globally, from an overall humans point of view, rather than due to peculiarities of the market mechanics itself (e.g. best kenyan land used to grow cash veg for tescos, cos tescos can make a profit from offering it....rather than that land being used for food for kenyans...(yes i understand cash crops (in answer to your question) but the cash from those crops DOES NOT go to give the hungry kenyans more food this way....it goes into a 'heirarchy' with some getting more stuff some less, with the best horticulturalists not actually being the ones to benefit the most)
