When there's a rumour about you being gay/bi/undecided amongst a group of your friends/acquaintances

GalacticStar3ruption [Edit] [Delete] 14:23, 3 March '09

and jokes are made about it constantly. Fortunately I'm a pretty chilled out kind of guy and it doesn't really bother me, but I'm not even sure how serious people are. I remember my friend telling me that I can admit to liking her boyfriend (I'm friends with him aswell) if I want to, she said that she won't be angry or anything. Yeah, that's part of the rumour too, I can't really explain this part at all, except that apparently I look at him differently to other people and behave differently arround him, or so I'm told.

Example: I'm playing the wii and I say "I think I'm better when playing with someone else for some reason" is turned into a joke about me being gay.

I understand where this all comes from, but I've told them several times that I'm not. The problem isn't the jokes themselves, but the fact that I get the feeling I'm not being believed, like they think I'm in denial or something.

Fortunately this hasn't spread to all my friends yet and probably never will, as they don't know my other friends.

Please note that serious and joke responses are welcome, although I'm willing to bet, that there will be far more of the latter.
