I just don't understand it :(
used to be fine when I passed but now living in London for over a year only get to drive when I'm back at home which is once every 2 months....bad times
Live in a street of terraced houses. You have to parallel park all the time. It becomes easy enough.
although that this means that some big scary impatient bloke drives past an average of every 5 seconds, sending my brain into meltdown until I forget what left, right, back, forward, reverse gear and first gear actually mean, so in the end i just drive away and pretended i never wanted to park there in the first place...
reverse really slowly until your instructor jenny tells you you need to straighten up
try to straighten up again then let jenny do it after she shouts at you, making sure to check mirrors every 5 seconds
make sure you turn the wheel the right way when trying to get into the space otherwise you'll reverse into the middle of the road and jenny will shout at you
once you make it into the spot you'll need to straighten up after you hit the curb and jenny will shout at you again.
keep trying till jenny stops shouting at you
this sounds familiar...was Jenny ever a bloke called Martin?
reverse until your mirrors are level with the car you are parking behind, at that point turn wheel maybe two and a half turns, turn the wheel back to centre when your wing mirror is about level with the back of their car, drive back, keep an eye on the curb and when it looks like you need to turn the wheel the other way to straighten up
but once you done in your test and passed u can avoid it normally
