People good at EXCEL

Mehodor [Edit] [Delete] 14:11, 2 March '09

please help me with your wisdom. OK say in:

A1 - 4
B1 - 5

And you want to work out the % change from A1 to B1. It would be

100-((A1/B1)*100) which will give you 20%.

BUT

say in

C1 - 5
D1 - 4

if you do 100-((C1/D1)*100) you get 25%. That's not right :s

If you change it to D1/C1 yeah you get 20% but is there a different way of doing this?
