and it stops dropping and will only let you drop individual tracks. what's that about? is there another way of doing it?
will it be much hassle switching though?
- Have one folder full of MP3s in subfolders.
- Tell WinAmp to watch that folder.
- Wait for it to build its database with a very small footprint compared to iTunes.
- play music will deleting all of iTunes' bloatware with extreme prejudice.
there's certain files that have disappeared off my computer but are still on my iPod. i'm worried i might lose them if iTunes is deleted
You just drag stuff onto the iPod in WinAmp when you connect and if you want it to be taken off then right click on the item when you're viewing the stuff on the iPod and chose to copy to the music library or something like that.
