thank god. When it first came out and they were playing it on GMTV etc I could never hear it, I've been well panicky about my hearing.
Oh and I'm 18.
if your 18 your suposed to hear it.
they panicked? Makes perfect sense really.
my 29 year old housemate heard it.
outside their house/shop, it fucks me off to no end.
My hearing's less fucked than I imagined.
basically this thing will act as a deterrent for more than just teenage scally's then.
Waste of time.
but I thought it got less annoying as it went on. Quite soothing, really.
what the fuck is up with my brain synapses today?
yeah, that would be fucking annoying to live near to
Even though the cats went ballistic. I have a headache now :(
walked past this hotel and my other friend (23) had no idea why we were acting in such a manner. They had one of those noise deterrents, it was odd that even though i'm the same age as him he couldn't hear it at all whereas it made me feel nauseous.
I'm thrilled, quite frankly!
cant hear it.
And I've been abusing my eardrums for at least half of that, so I'm well happy I can hear it.
i also have tinnitus.
i hate the very idea of those mosquito boxes things, i encourage people to smash the fucking things
'hey, you know how a small number of youths sometimes bother us?'
'well why don't we make various parts of public space intolerable for a whole group of people?!?'
'it'll be sweet, they won't loiter outside our shops anymore, and best of all, it'll give some of them nausea and headaches!'
'isn't that unjustifiable discrimination and persecution?'
'well, yeah, but they're only kids. Fuck them!'
They're supposed to only be a deterrent, and flicked on when there are some annoying youths outside your shop so they bugger off. Unfortunately a lot of idiotic shopkeepers just leave them on all the time.
that only sounds like 16.5-17 k or something
Not a pleasent noise though.
but then, I do have quite good ears
it matches the ringing I have in my ears
