OFT/bank charges latest

the banks lost their appeal against the OFT over bank charges, and they are now officially subject to fair trading rules. OFT will consider the charges/potential refunds and rule later this year on whether people get payouts.
for all the arguments about whether or not this would be a good thing, whether it's deserved, whatever, i still have a claim in progress (they announced the test case just after i sent off my claim letter) and this could well mean i get around £3,000 back. that'd be goodbye overdraft, hello financial independence, and would be completely amazing. fingers crossed...
is anyone else in a similar position?
