I watched this for the first time at the weekend. Somehow I'd managed to never see it before, so I felt it was time to rectify that
While it was certainly good, it left me a little confused. Are there any big Blade Runner fans on here? If so, and apologies for going all Film Studies on you, but how comes it's revered so much?
Is it largely down to the bleak landscape that Ridley Scott creates? Because, and forgive me for saying this, I didn't think the story was up to much. I really loved the way the whole thing was lit, and the soundtrack was great, but I thought some of the story could've been handled better, and the dialogue was a little lame at times
I watched the Directors Cut, fact fans. Would this have made a difference? I know the ending was supposed to be different
