we got a new washing machine a month or so ago in the flat, it's very nice, shiny, etc. my other flatmates have no problems with it (or haven't told me if they do). but when i use it, i'm ending up with white marks all over my clothes. yeah, very funny, but at least monica lewinsky got a taste of power - all i get is the prospect of faint social humiliation in the office. why is this happening though? i presume it's bits of washing powder not fully dissolving - why, though? i put the powder in the machine, stick it on 50, put a loooong program on.
