I love how upset paddies get about Irish jokes.
which explains how I somehow got away with singing No Surrender to the IRA with my mate Tommo and a lad from Wolverhampton on St Paddys day surrounded by Irish people.
and the IRA probably celebrate st paddys.
I think I was saved cos I had made influential and tough friends
I can spend 6+ hours a day online and yet only click and refresh between three or four sites in the main? Where's all the good sites?!

ANDRE THE GIANT page?
i never thought brumsa was fake
Most of them but not all.
and will probably never read it.
everyone should read a story or two by H.G. Wells, it's obvious, isn't it?
He's well good.
The First Men in the Moon - I love how exotic his predictions of the surface of the moon are, with the sun providing the energy for perpetual 12 hour long bursts of lush grassy life (to be followed by 12hr sunless barren periods), and the grasses are in turn eaten by giant snaky creatures... and more. It's a really vivid description of a world that can exist (up there), if you read the book I suppose.
Haven't read it.
TWOTW is great, as is The Island of Dr Moreau.
I also really liked The Shape of Things to Come.
a few years ago, and the heat combined with the quality of the story and setting kinda sent delirious, like I was on the island watching it unfold... he definitely writes adventures the reader can relate to, and the manner in which he fleshes out the situations and the aftermaths, fantastic!
I prefer early (pre 1945) sci-fi much more than later sci-fi
Conan-Doyle is really good for that as well.
Written in 1905, it's essentially a romantic adventure story that acts as a vehicle for a thinly-veiled prediction of the nature of 20th century war. And he gets it right much of the time!
Hotmail is SHITE. I've just tried to attach files to apply for a french internship about 10 times now and each time it bloody navigates away from the page. AGHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

do you want a fight?
Just, you know, wondered.
It's hard to fight when you're not feeling like it.
Though a fight I had in that state did make people think I was hard at school.
I've always wondered
