And I'm too scared to go back as my teeth are fucked from a rugby incident and I can't afford to have them fixed.
Denistry in this country these days is a sham
I mean, if you're on the dole or something is it not still all free?
I think the logic is that you can do a lot to protect your teeth but your health is mostly a different matter hence NHS care is available to all.
Set me back about £500. I need another tooth sorted but cannae afford it.

I imagine you can do some pretty permanent damage without a check up at least every couple of years.
Unless you have an accident, surely your teeth'll be fine if you brush them frequently, etc.
probably about June 2007.
I used to be scared of the dentist, but then i got an attractive dentist and i wasn't scared any more.
and got hit with a bill for about £650!!
I think i may try that dental insurance.
You must have very good and white teeth bamnan.
Wanted £25 for a missed appointment.
considering going to the dentist to get them cleaned proper and then, importantly, to see about getting a brace. anyone had one as an older person...?
Only a bit older though, 21-23. I am so glad I did it. My teeth are beautiful now.
Someone charged me about £60 to have stuff scraped off my teeth. Apparently I have really bad gums. I have been putting it off, and I bet if I go now they'll insist on charging me for a new customer appointment and x ray me again.
I should probably go considering I've chipped my tooth twice in past 12 months.
One of them is starting to hurt now, though. I should go.
Apart from orthodontics and wisdom teeth removed I've never had additional work done for cavitiesor anything :)
and get fissure sealing for free.
It's a preventative anti-plaque/cavities thing as it protects yo'teefz.
half my face is numb, I feel like that stroke advert.
I actually love my dentist/dentistry.
Though I've never actually had anything done to my teeth, so I reckon going to the dentist is pretty pointless in my case.
I got every 12 months without fail. People who don't are idiots.
Wisdom teeth bother made me expect the worst: gum disease. So i was quite releaved when she showed me the x-ray of the incoming tooth bending the root of my 2nd molar.
I've got a check up in the start of March. YIPEEEE
