i don't know any proper 'locals' nightclubs in london, but if they are like 'bounce' i'm glad not to know
when you google it, you just get loads of stories about lasses who have been raped on their way home from there and stories about drugs raids.
there were an obscene amount of charvers around the centre for life last night. It seemed like some "rave" was going on..
nah, i reckon that the charvers just love their science.
nah i havent been actually, my friend lives there though and hates going out there
whitley bay is the closest nightlife to me, ah its so sleezy.
and 'the ultimate destination for stag do's' so i read from a minibus
tbf, there is only one nightclub, the last chance ranch, so y'know.
even sunderland's better than that.
i'll take note of that. for when i have my sex change, find someone to marry and have to have a stag do :D
There are alot of bad ones around, usualy just regular run of the mill pop clubs or indie clubs playing chart trance or the same brit pop since 1996 (not even the good stuff dont get excited DiS).
is so damn funny, it has a bowling Ally atached to it.
Places like Eros in Enfield, for example.
Where I grew up, the closest club was Pulse in Stevenage, which has since closed down after a couple of stabbings and reopened as Liquid: http://www.liquidclubs.com/stevenage/
Is says something about the town in which I grew up that the opening of Pulse when I was in sixth form was seen as the coming of cosmopolitan civilisation.
I really can't be doing with all of the local pop / Trance clubs as well as the indie clubs. The Inide ones have got as bad as the chav tastic pop clubs in the last 3 years at least.
Dance music clubs are where its at for clubs anything else usualy hasd an awful awful vibe.
Seems to attract quite a crowd, why I don't know, I always get asked for directions to it by people who've come down on the train.
doesn't seem to have a website any more. This is odd, because I distinctly remember it having one back in the days of web 1.0 stuffs (workinprogress.gif, pages that read "ill put sumthin here soon!!!", easily breakable forums).
Here's what the internet has to say about it:
"One large rectangular room with the bar on a raised area near the entrance. The sound System is Excellent - or is that the beer talking! Very popular with young Mumbles girls and it's for this reason that it is more popular with male students. It can be said that if you can't pull here that you might as well give up!"
This sounds about right, because I never got off with anyone there and look at me now. A friend of mine had his arm broken in an arm-wrestle there, and the pavement outside was often stained crimson of a weekend morning.
a quick squiz around the internet this morning told me that they renamed it The Pier at some point but most peeps kept calling it Cinders.
I'm not sure that it was worse than The Zone or not. The Zone was also very bad, but at least bad in the way that a small room of underage goths was bad. That must be long gone now, too; it was in a room above a videogame shop for years..
only like the top room, the room of mirrorrrrrs! and beds
there was a club called Ashtons in Cricklewood where everyone at school would go to - I never did. It sounded like pretty much the worst place on earth. It's been demolished now. Hurrah.
cannot be as bad as jaxx in fleet.
I've never been allowed in there. Evidently I look too threatening. Or, was not following official "shoe" policy.
i've never been in. people tried too drag me. but no... just no.
wonderful space, awful use of it. the saving graces are a) an imax cinema + b) wagamama
I used to depsise the place after they more or less killed the local music scene, but it's improved vastly since decent promoters have come in and started putting on some good gigs. This is the best picture I could find...
Not on of their best nights by the look of things...
Manchester's foremost Buddhist-trance-meets-gangsta-crunk night.
I have no idea about the Rock Café, Cirencester's premier (pretty much only) nightspot, having never been in. It's supposed to be pretty awful. Also renowned shitholes in the area with names like Time or Eros. Sophie Squirrel knows more about the Cotswold club scene than me.
Actually I went to Sub Tone in Cheltenham a couple of times. That was pretty good – it was basically a breaks/D&B club in a terraced Georgian townhouse, so you'd wander up and down stairs and in and out of different rooms.
It was horrendous.
mine was always Satans Hollow.
its actually great.but then i am easily pleased
