I'm going away with the lady this weekend, days will be spent walking in forests, I imagine at night we will have some time for film viewing amongst other activities.
Can anyone recommend some truly great films to try and take with us, preferably from the last few years?
I don't watch many films so do not have a particular broad knowledge.
I generally like stuff with an element of the unreal about it, particulalry apocolyptic stuff, but the key for me is intelligent dialouge/plot so you can't see every line/event coming from a mile off.
I also really like British film.
I realise this is a pretty vague brief to work from, here's some
films I have enjoyed in the last few years:
Children of Men
The Dark Knight
This is England
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
28 Days Later
Was thinking of getting 'Sunshine' by Danny Boyle, as well as '28 Weeks Later'
Hit me with any suggestions and why you love em! Thanks!
