5 months. No running water, no phone, no internet, not much electricity.

Please give me some ideas of things to take to stop me going mad.

Obviously i'm taking my mp3 player, and a couple of long books, but what else should be an essential addition to my backpack? I'm talking 'luxuries', not things like clothes and shoes etc.
