on saturday, our house took in a ginger Persian kitten, while his owners are away on holiday.

Have you ever seen a persian cat? they're actually the most retarded looking animals in the entire world. squashed face, weird eyes, short legs, kind of like a cat shaped furry ET. I can't decide whether it's incredibly repulsive or massively cute.

anyway, according to the internet, we didn't go about it the right way. we just let the new one wander around the house, which, luckily so far hasn't resulted in a fight (though i did find some traces of blood on the floor), but constant growling/hissing and general terror and shaking on all sides (one spent 4/5 hours under my bed yesterday).

we've separated the new one and kept him in one room, with the other two having free run of the rest of the house.

does anyone know/think of a way we can re-introduce them to each other without starting a small kitten war??
