actually quite a fun film to watch, very lovely style of shooting and took me back to my own holiday in the basque last year.

none of the performances were particularly noteworthy, though penelope cruz as the troubled ex wife of the man in the middle of the love triangle (or square) was very entertaining. it's only 90 minutes or so long and it flies by, though nothing really happens, in the sense that it's very throwaway, like a movie version of friends or something.

for a comedy there's only really one funny bit, and i can understand why people would hate it, but i enjoyed it.
