Also, the Curzon: shitting hell it's pricey in there.
Notorious is a film. It's about the life of the rapper Notorious B.I.G., and will hopefully be good. His son is in it too.
Anvil is a film. It's about a 80s hair metal band who are still plying their trade today. It also looks like it could be good.
I am excited about seeing both of these films.
The Curzon cinema in Soho: it is expensive.
although the article in the Guardian Guide was basically a Biggie For Dummies primer explaining who he was and why anyone should give a fuck. Hopefully it'll be good.
It looks good. Real good.
I was in two minds about it, one half of me thinking, "Amazing, Biggie is on the cover of the guide, that's really great", and the other half of me wishing it wasn't so simplistic and entry-level. Still, looking forward to seeing the film.
The Anvil trailer made me feel really emotional for some reason. I'm basically gonna have to go and see it alone and blub like a child. The Wrestler, amn it was really hard not to cry during that. Why the hell am I crying so much at films all of a sudden? If that happens during Notorious I'll get kicked out of the G Club.
