If it was cooked into an extremely tasty meaty dish? Something like a nice pate or a cheeseburger.
but morally I can't really argue with it, because although I guess it technically is meat, nothing's had to die to produce it. But I don't think I'd want to because I'm not used to eating meat. Plus it's kinda gross...
regardless of if you're veggie or not.
it's sort of recycling, right?
Like a lamb or a cows. It might be nice with chips.
that'd mean you'd had a child OUTSIDE OF WEDLOCK!
I read it like some kids parents kept their placenta and used it for when they got married..as opposed to the bride using her OWN placenta. Carry on.
Hang on, i read that as "some sort of veal". How could you make a veil out of a placenta?
What's the groom going to wear? A top hat daubed in his own shit?
a split condom in his breast pocket
donating it to your local bio-chemistry research institute.
The placenta is a barely understood part of the human reproductive cycle, and you could help the human race better understand the wonders of life by parting with something you barely considered the existence of even whilst you were pregnant.
If they were readily available in supermarkets and you could make nice recipes with them, would vegetarians buy them?
well I wouldn't.
I imagine they taste like liver.
Plus don't animals eat the placenta when they're born, for nutrients and strength and stuff? So I don't think a vegetarian would be comfortable with having it taken from them.
