I can only remember my first mobile number, my cousin's, my mother's and my father's.
I know roughly 20% of it
and then Im sort of half-sure/half-not sure theres a 9
i cant remember my mum's or any of my friends.
Thats why I always lose contact with people
plus my mum's, my dad's and my sister's
I have a good head for that kind of shit.
But no one else's, except three of my friends' home phone numbers.
Glad I'm not the only one.
after trying to contact orange to sort out a bill and being 'told' by the womanmachinevoice repeatedly to key in my phone number and not knowing it and then ACTUALLY CRYING with frustration, as i realised they WOULD NOT LET ME PASS. And no, I couldn't find a single bill with my number on it. And then when I phoned up a friend, I was too embarrassed to admit why I was so pissed off and blamed it on imaginary call-centre technical stuff rather than being retarded and not knowing my own number.
People who don't: what the hell is wrong with you? Numbnuts.
but it hasn't changed in eight years.
The only other number I know off by heart is my parents' home number.
But ive had it for years.
but then, i have had the same number since 2001, if i didn't that'd be pretty embarrassing
it's the only number i do know though, i don't know my home number or anyone else's as i've always relied on my mobile
Yeah, I do, I made myself learn it so I could ring it off the house phone when I lost it.
anyone who doesn't = amateur hour.
I had the same number for 10 years, but changed it about 3 weeks ago and now I can't get my head round it.
i know my email address and my home address, my phone number is the same :)
wait, you almost got me there!
Only people who shouldn't are those who've changed their number in the last couple of weeks and there's no excuse for that really given how easy it is to port it to a new network.
See who answers!
I know most of my friend's numbers too. I'm really good at remembering mobile numbers.
But then, nobody's ever asked for it. I could probably learn it though if I wanted. I think it's quite repetitive.
And it's got an 88 and a 99 in it, so I'd have to be pretty lame not to have got it remembered by now.
