So superbowl sunday eh?! good stuff!
What's everyone getting up to this chilly sunday?!
My cold is just hitting full force as well, and I'm praying it clears before I fly out next week.
on 4th july last year *touches wood*
What day are you flying out??
My cold is draining me big style at the minue. Im hoping ill be able to flush it out before I land in india.
so you going from terminal 5? I'll be in terminal 5 on that morning too..how wierd!
Im flying with Qatar airlines via Doha, was about £200 or so cheaper. Terminal 5 is great though, I've only landed there but its a great terminal. Much better than 3 :'(
Incidentally one of my neighbours is flying to miami from terminal three on the same day.
Well it's worth it if you got a cheaper flight that's for sure. My return to bangalore was £372 with brittish airways so not that bad at all i don't think.
BA was looking at almost £500 for similar flights, but they would have been direct.
mine's direct. I don't actually know how long the flight is though
I can't help myself for wanting federer to win. I have no idea why though.
It appears to be a classic battle between technical sophistication and brute force. It's not really, but I think that's how I see it.
'Video conference' with a band.
Getting 'sales notes' in order for our new distributor.
Maybe Chinese New Year celebrations later.
you're insane john! i didn't think you'd be up for that in the current temperature! good on you!
and not a heated swimming pool :D
Hackney Lido not London Beach.
their kit is fusion sports or something isn't it?
he also told me james nesbit and that guy from my family and the BT advert use it a lot.
which is a shame, as i kinda like american football. it's just....every time i stay up to watch it i get as far as the half-time show and then think "it's late. i'm tired. i can't be fucked waiting an hour and a half for the sport to start again. i'm off to bed." which is really fucking annoying because as inevitably as the fucking tides the third and fourth quarters in EVERY superbowl are always about 56 times better than the first two. GRRRR.
i'm playing squash in an hour's time, then i have to go to the supermarket, clean the bathroom, and work on job applications. i love my life!
we should play some time
but in the last two or three years i've not had a squash partner and my fitness level has plummeted, which considering it wasn't that high to start with....
anyway, chris, if you move to north-east london you can be my squash buddy
i don't really know london too well if it's not in the centre.
Yeah i took it up at school as a cool down after a hard days work activities and we used to play loads. I then went to paderborn in germany where they have the most amazing sports centre and i represented my school at squash over there for a week.
so maybe it will have to be a one-off, special occasion kinda thing. but i would feel ashamed trying to challenge you in my current physical condition, so maybe it should wait a few months until i less resemble a human blimp
you WILL have to beat me to earn my respect.
actually, racket/bat sports are the only sports i have any discernable talent at. unless you include hacking down opposing wingers once the ball's long gone as a sport
well if you beat me on that day i will buy lunch or something or just give you a gift certificate or something.
get good enough at squash to beat Ashford in november. *gains steely determination*
also how do you know my surname?
You heading to brunell? Its a dump by the way and about 5 minutes from my house. The similarities are getting worrying about our lives at the minute.
Hahah indeed! is your name chris too?
Id try and avoid uxbridge and the surrounding area as much as possible and spend your time on the metropolitan line heading into central london.
Unfortunately my name is not chris.
and yeah i will probably have to get one of those lobster things so i can use the trains.
Your close enough to london to make up for the terrible night life in uxbridge though which is always a bonus.
i just can't wait to get through uni and join the army, happy days. I wish i could go to a uni like warwick, but it wasn't to be
And at the end of the day youll have a great time wherever as long as you meet some good people.
I went to York which is dull as dishwater, but had a blast due to meeting some awesome people.
i chose brunel for four reasons
1)the course is the closest to my interests
2)i like the campus
3)The gym and sporting facilities are great
4)it's close enough to get into london yet not right in the centre with all the mega expense
meaning no music all day !
i've always been a fan of H
then go and see Milk before having some people round for sunday dinner. I'm excited.
Genning up on the company I'm having an interview for tomorrow, I would like the job a lot.
Trying to work out why I fell asleep mid-afternoon yesterday and missed both rota and going out in the evening
