3. the President
If you've not seen the West Wing: just make it up.
cus its my star sign
The Oval Office
The Presidential Seal
the briefing room
and the resolute desk
Is it made of strong stuff?
I might go back to the West Wing when I'm done with the Wire.
cos the Americans rescued a ship called HMS Resolute for them.
That's a serious desk.
3. President Bartlet
Always loved Josh, but I met Bradley Whitford last summer and he's such a nice guy I like Josh even more now.
she might bump the President down to 4th for me.
2. The secret service agent who liked CJ but got shot, played by the guy from NCIS. I can't remember his name!
4. Ainsley Hayes
That episode is so sad :(
Simon Donovan, right?
Yeah, the last 15 minutes of that episode >>>>> pretty much everything else
I thought his name was Simon Donovan! That's the character's name! Anyway, he was great.
where the president's in the cathedral and stuff and dire straits is playing.
also the president's entrance in the first episode is one of the best ever I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD Thou shalt worship no other God before me.
on that homophobic journalist by quoting a load of the anachronistic pronouncements from the bible, and finishes off with, "AND WHEN THE PRESIDENT STANDS, NOBODY SITS."
i love it when he speaks Latin as well.
Love Sam's line at the end too.
Though that scene is one of thousands in West Wing which implies that whenever there is a thunder storm in Washington DC it's always directly above the White House.
he's not a crook
Nobody is gonna say Charlie or Marbury. HA.
and everyone else as joint 2)?
She's super hot.
Mary-Louise Parker. Total girlcrush on her.
like STOP HAVING A DERISIVE DETATCHMENT FROM EVERYONE FOR A MINUTE
i mean.. uh... yeah. JUST CARRY ON TYPING.
of the occasionals Oliver Platt (can't remember the character name) and Fitz Wallace.
I want to watch some now. You can come over and have some lamb leg steak and creamy potatoes boulangere if you bring some dvds. Preferences to females with maternal natures.
Who was the nice, honorable-ish one? And that other kind of nice, honorable-ish one?
I like Leo cos he lives his life honourably to honour the people who died saving him in Vietman. He definitely has the best backstory.
..I miss it so.
Did everyone forget Mallory? oh hang on she was just annoying. I think
1. Leo (for curmudgeonly old bastards everywhere)
2. Donna (without whom I would know nothing about american politics)
3. Margaret (because in france one egg is an oeuff.)
and it's even mentioned in dialogue AND YET IT IS NEVER BROUGHT UP AGAIN.
like Nicole but with a CAPITAL C!!!
4. Everyone else
5. The annoying British ambassador
Donna (very, very fanciable)
On a side note I'm watching Studio 60 at the moment. Do it, it's ace.
If that's to me and you meant canned, yes it was
2) who cares?
INCIDENTALLY, i was watching episode 4 of the new season of 24 early and the law firm Gage, Whitney and Pace is mentioned. THAT IS THE SAME COMPANY SAM WORKS FOR BEFORE HE JOINS THE BARTLET CAMPAIGN. i love references like that :D
I'm really up on Toby.
but Toby really.
They also mention Gage, Whitney in Studio 60, which I thought started off promisingly but then tailed off towards the end of the series when the show became less about issues, which Sorkin is excellent at writing about and developing, and more about the personal stories of each of the characters which became a little dull.
and references being on the West Wing? if so, WHO PLAYED JOSH ON THAT VERSION?!?
Alison Janney appears and the West Wing is name checked constantly. Also Josh, Danny, President Walken, the hispanic campaign manager from series 6+7. I'm sure there are more too.
Just stopped watching it on DVD (series 3 episode 8 "The Indians in the Lobby" if you're interested), had a look on here and saw this thread. Mental. I think Ginger is well hot
big block of cheese day
You'll fucking love National Treasure 2 !
I'm tearing through season 6 at the moment. Loads of sad MS scenes, and proto-Obama.
